Definitions and Terms of Use
Unless otherwise defined within specific sections of this document, any term capitalized herein and not explicitly defined shall have the meanings assigned to them below. These terms may be used interchangeably in masculine, feminine, or neutral forms, and in singular or plural as appropriate to the context.
- “Careers”: refers to a series of Courses grouped by a common theme and organized according to a learning criterion, which include theoretical and practical content necessary for users to develop expertise in a specific area.
- “Cookie”: denotes a data file placed on the User’s device when accessing the Site.
- “User Account”: signifies the identification created for Users (comprising an access ID and password) to facilitate access to the Services provided by Uqual via the Platform.
- “Course”: means a structured educational module wherein instructors provide instruction on a specific subject or topic to Users through the Uqual Platform.
- “Current Laws”: encompasses all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, and rules governing Users within their jurisdiction.
- “Memberships”: refers to the subscription types offering limited-time access to the Courses and Services provided by Uqual, allowing Users to select options based on preferences, rates, and available Courses.
- “Mentors”: refers to individuals with specialized knowledge in certain disciplines or subjects related to the Courses, who provide guidance to Users.
- “Platform”: includes the website and digital media interfaces owned by Uqual, through which Users register and access services.
- “Product”: indicates access to a Course or a package of Courses within the Uqual catalog, available regardless of Membership subscription.
- “Instructor”: is a professional or expert in a specific subject area who delivers Course content through the Platform.
- “Service”: describes the provision by Uqual of Courses on various topics, facilitated by instructors and mentors. This includes online courses, personalized assistance, events, and video conferences.
- “Rate”: refers to the price charged for accessing any Membership offered by Uqual, payable through available payment methods.
- “Specific Terms and Conditions”: refers to the specific terms governing each Membership type.
